Around Here: We had a Wedding!
This month has been a whirlwind of wedding preparations and excitement leading up to the big day. I know that all brides are glowing and I don’t like to brag but my daughter was absolutely gorgeous!
Her new husband is a captain for our town’s volunteer fire department and his dad (the fire chief) arranged to have the ladder truck to come down after the ceremony for photos. I love the shot above showing their reflection in the side of the truck.

And of course, this gorgeous shot of the happy family.
She wanted a rustic theme for the decorations at the reception and the invitations. We handmade the invitations and decided to go with a cream colored cardstock mounted on brown kraft paper and envelopes. Then tied everything together with some twine and a cute little tag.
I will be adding the invitations you see below along with the save-the-date cards, ceremony programs and thank you cards to my Etsy Shop in the next couple weeks. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. I’m still catching up with the pages from the wedding in my memory journal but I will be sure to share them with you next week.
