Amazon Lately… {October 2021}
It’s starting to look and feel like fall around here, cooler days and chilly nights mean that the leaves should start changing any day now. It also means that it’s time to get cozy and I found some things on Amazon lately that are just perfect.
1. Hudson Baby Unisex-Baby Cozy Fleece Booties
Our new little “Baby J” is just the sweetest but his feet are always freezing and we can’t keep his socks on. So when I found these cute little booties, I knew we had to have them! There are a bunch of different animal designs but have a thing for owls so obviously I picked these.
2. Fall Basics Collection Embellished Dishtowel Set
Even though these dishtowels won’t help keep you warm they will make your kitchen Fall ready! Once again there is a huge selection for you to choose from but I decided on this 3-piece set.
3. 50PC Kids Disposable Masks - Dinosaurs and Spaceships
My Little Man started school a couple of weeks ago and even though he has some really nice cloth masks I would rather he start using the disposable kind. Mostly because he licks them 😂 and then the inside is all wet and yuck which I think is giving him a little bit of acne. Have you ever seen a 3.5-year-old with pimples? These just came yesterday and he can’t wait to start using them Monday morning. Hopefully, this will be better than washing his other masks constantly and much more sanitary.
4. Lightweight Tassel Zipper Bucket Crossbody Bag
So…I have a bit of a purse addiction and it’s been a long time since I’ve treated myself to a new one. I always had good luck at the JCPenny store in Auburn but they closed so instead of going to the Outlet Mall and wasting a lot of money I don’t have at one of the designer stores I found this pretty baby on Amazon. I’m a big fan of the “boho” style, with one big pocket on the inside and a smaller pocket on the outside. I would rather use smaller pouches to organize my purse than have it already divided up for me.
I love the adjustable strap and the tassels on the front pocket and it comes in so many colors I want to order a couple more so I can switch them out. Here’s a look at the options…
I have the taupe but really like the black/taupe, the dark grey, the pink, and the burgundy one will be really nice for the holidays. Which is your favorite or favorites?
5. Reach for the Starts Ultra Soft Thick Microplush Bed Blanket
I love my blankets! In the winter I like to sleep in a nice cool room but bundled up with a bunch of blankets that way if I get too hot I can remove a layer or two if want. This blanket is going to be perfect and I can’t wait to start using it. Once again this comes in a few different colors. My room is whites and greys so this blue looks very elegant and the stars are so much fun!
6. Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing & Repair Lip Treatment
I may have mentioned this one before… Once the weather gets cold and dry my hands get very chapped and my fingertips crack. I’ve tried everything to get them to heal, all kinds of moisturizers and lotions but they’re either too greasy or just don’t work. Over the years I’ve learned two tricks first, I use this Dove Intensive Cream Nourishing Care Dry Skin Moisturizer that I find at our local Dollar Store. It works like a charm and keeps my hands smooth as silk. But my fingertips don’t heal.
Now here’s the silly part. One day for some reason I’m not really sure why but I rubbed some of the AVON Moisture Therapy on my cracked fingers. My thinking was if can heal chapped lips maybe it can help my hands. And guess what? It does! And not only my hands but I even used it on my cracked heels. After a couple of days, all the cracks were gone. I swear by it and in my opinion, it’s 100 times better than most medicated creams on the market today. 9 out of 10 times I will grab this before anything that’s medicated.
