This time of year everyone is putting out a list of their favorite things, Whoopie, Mariah Carey, bloggers everywhere, and of course Oprah! So, today I thought I would share some of my favorite things that I use everyday with you.

  1. I’ve been using this Michael Kors purse for a few months now, it’s really perfect for me, in shape, size and color. I love that it’s just one pocket inside and it’s not too big that everything doesn’t get lost in the bottom. I also have a Liz Claiborne purse that’s very similar to this one but there’s a small cell phone pocket in the front and two small handles in case I don’t want to use the long shoulder strap, which is also removable.

  2. If you are looking for soft cozy sheets that you can cuddle up with and watch your favorite holiday movie, then these Extra Soft Cozy Velvet Plush Sheets from Great Bay Home are exactly what you need! It’s been very cold here in Western New York the past couple weeks and I can’t wait to get into bed and curl up with these sheets.

  3. This one isn’t exactly something I use or even have but it definitely one of my favorite things and is on my Amazon Wishlist. I fell in love with this Victrola Vintage, Bluetooth Suitcase Record Player as soon as I saw it! It looks almost identical to the one I had when I was a little girl and I still have a lot of my old records.

  4. Last year I decided to get rid of cable and use only the internet to watch TV and movies. Between Netflix, Hulu and Prime there’s not much that I miss and the Fire Stick from Amazon makes it super easy to access my favorite apps and pick up where I left off. I have a smart TV but it’s constantly freezing up, isn’t compatible with Alexa and other electronics that we use, and we cannot access all the apps we want to use. For example, the new Disney+ app is not available on our TV but it is on the Fire Stick.

If you plan on purchasing a Fire Stick in the near future, I suggest waiting for the Black Friday Sales. Last year you received a free Echo Dot when you purchased a Fire Stick and it was on sale! Right now just the stick is on sale for $35, if you’re a Prime member, which is already a great deal if you don’t want to wait.

  5. Savor the scents of New York and the Adirondacks with this Homesick Scented Candle. You can smell the sweet autumn fragrances of pumpkins and apple orchards, finished with spiced notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. It really smells like fall in New York which is my favorite time of year so I especially love having this candle all year round!

  6. This Reusable, Eco-friendly Ecoffee Cup I found on Oprahs list of favorite things. She’s right on the money this year because these are really great! They’re not flimsy at all, the lid stays on good and tight and it doesn’t leak at all. Plus, they come in so many great colors everyone will be happy. 😃 I already have the mint green one but am seriously thinking about getting a red one for the holiday’s.

  7. My daughter’s, best-friends dad gave her two Facebook Portals for a wedding gift. One for her house and one for our house. It’s so cool and we use it all the time! I love getting to see my grandson all messy and eating spaghetti or helping her cook dinner when needs a few tips from mom. The camera is awesome and moves with you around the room. It zooms in and out depending on how far away you are but it always keeps you and anyone else in the room, the center focus. If you have close family or friends that are far away I highly recommend getting a portal. It’s not like face time at all…you’re not tied to the device and it’s a much more forgiving lens view, if you know what I mean lol.

  8. I found this awesome De-Stress infused with Jojoba Golden Organic Oil Essential Blend Roll-On in the Syracuse University Medical Center gift shop after my Nana’s car accident. I’ve always had problems with anxiety and have tried lots of different remedies but this roll-on essential oil blend really works wonders! It smells really smooth and not overpowering at all. Depending on my stress level, I put some on both my wrists and along my collar bone on each side. I was super excited to find them on Amazon when I was running low because it really smells good and I’ve even received a couple complements on how nice my perfume is.

  9. This last item I’ve used for years and years. I was in a car accident when I was about eleven and have suffered with chronic neck pain since. This Herbal Aromatherapy, Microwavable Heating Pad really works wonders. I heat it up for 2-3 minutes in the microwave and wrap it around my neck. Sometimes when it’s really hot and humid outside I don’t heat it up but the weight of it alone helps relax my neck and makes me feel much better.
