Free Printable 2027 Future Log: Year at a Glance + Calendex
If you like being able to see the whole year at once but also want a simple way to keep track of things happening in the future, I made a new printable for you!
Meet the 2027 Future Log — a combination of a year-at-a-glance calendar and a Calendex.
What Is a Future Log?
A future log is a simple way to keep track of things that are happening later — appointments, birthdays, vacations, deadlines, events, plans, or anything else you don't want to forget.
Instead of writing those things on a monthly page before you’re ready to plan that month, you can put them in your future log and know exactly where to find them when the time comes.
Think of it as your “don't forget this later” page.
And this version combines two of my favorite planning ideas: the year-at-a-glance and the Calendex.

The Year-at-a-Glance
A year-at-a-glance gives you a quick view of the entire year on one or two pages. It's especially useful when you need to look beyond the current month and see what's coming.

The Calendex
A Calendex is a different way of tracking future events. Instead of giving you large boxes for each day, it uses a compact calendar-style layout where you can mark the dates you need to remember.
It's great for those little bits of information that you know you'll need later but don't necessarily want to put into your planner yet.

Your Free 2027 Future Log
For this printable, I combined the two ideas into one simple layout.
You get the full year of 2027 at a glance, along with space to mark important dates and future plans.
It's perfect for things like:
Birthdays and anniversaries
Doctor or other appointments
Vacations and travel
School dates
Bill due dates
Important deadlines
Holidays and family events
Concerts, shows, and other events
Anything else you need to remember later
The idea is to have one place where you can quickly check what's coming up without having to flip through all of your monthly planner pages.
Sunday or Monday Start
I know planners are personal, so I made two versions!
You can choose the Sunday-start version if that's how you prefer your calendars, or the Monday-start version if you like your week to begin on Monday.
Just download the version that works best for you.
How I Would Use It
I'd keep this page right near the front of my planner where I can easily get to it.
Whenever I make a plan for several months from now, I'd add it to the Future Log. Then, when that month gets closer, I can transfer the information to my regular monthly or weekly pages.
It's a simple little step, but it can make a big difference when you have a lot of dates floating around in your head.
And honestly, sometimes that's exactly what I want from a planner — a place to put something down so I don't have to keep remembering it.

SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND FOR PRINTING
You don't need anything fancy to print this calendar, but using good quality paper can make your printable look and feel much nicer. I especially recommend a bright white paper that works well with your printer and gives you plenty of room to write.
