Reader Requested Week: Free Printable Birthday Tracker

Welcome to Day 4 of the 2026 Reader Requested Week!

One of my favorite parts of Reader Requested Week is seeing which ideas pop up again and again—and this one came up a lot. You asked for a simple way to keep track of birthdays all year long without flipping through pages or relying on your phone notifications.

So today’s reader-requested freebie is a Birthday Tracker Printable designed to help you keep every important date in one easy, glanceable place.

Whether it’s family, friends, coworkers, or even those “don’t forget!” birthdays you always seem to remember at the last minute, this printable makes it easy to stay on top of them all year long.

What’s Included in the Birthday Tracker Printable

To make this printable work for as many planning styles as possible, I created two sizes:

  • Full Size (8.5 x 11) – perfect for binders, clipboards, or hanging near your desk

  • Half Size (5.5 x 8.5) – ideal for planners, A5 binders, or notebooks

Each version includes all 12 months laid out on a single page, with plenty of writing space under each month so you can list names and dates clearly without feeling cramped.

The soft, cheerful design adds a little fun without being overwhelming, making it easy to use year after year.

How to Use This Birthday Tracker

There are so many easy ways to use this printable depending on your planning routine:

  • Slip it into the front of your planner as a quick reference page

  • Add it to your home binder or command center

  • Use it as a family birthday list so everyone stays on the same page

  • Keep one at your desk to plan cards, gifts, or messages ahead of time

You can even print a fresh copy each year or reuse it digitally if you prefer to type directly into your printables.

Why a Birthday Tracker Is So Helpful

Having all your birthdays in one place means:

  • No more last-minute scrambling

  • More thoughtful cards and gifts

  • Less mental clutter

  • One less thing to try to remember

It’s one of those simple planning tools that quietly makes life easier—and those are my favorite kind.

SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND FOR PRINTING

A PRINTER

If you’re going to be printing in color, I really recommend investing in a Canon Mega Tank Printer. The quality of the finished product is amazing! If you don’t need a color printer, I highly recommend a laser printer like the Brother L23 Series. You will save hundreds on ink. You can also get a color laser printer, which I would LOVE to have!

PAPER

For everyday printables, planners, and coloring pages for the kiddos, I normally use Hammermill Printer Paper, 20 Lb. I love that you can get a small box of 3 reams instead of having to buy one at a time or a whole case of 10.

If I want something a little nicer, I use this laser paper, which is incredibly smooth and has very little to no ghosting on the other side. This is perfect if you like to use pens/markers that are prone to bleeding through to the other side.

For printing on A5 paper, I use this Blank 6-Hole Punched A5 Paper. You can also get it without the holes, but it’s $6-7 more. Which I think is odd because it’s usually the other way around, and you have to pay more for the hole punching.
