May Bible Verse Reading Plan (Free Printable)
May is a beautiful time of growth. The days feel lighter, everything around us is blooming, and it’s the perfect reminder that growth takes time, care, and intention.
This month’s reading plan theme is Living a Fruitful Life — a gentle invitation to stay rooted in your faith and allow God to work through you in meaningful ways.
No matter what this season looks like for you, these daily Scriptures are here to encourage you, guide you, and help you grow one day at a time.
💖 Why “Living a Fruitful Life”?
A fruitful life doesn’t happen overnight — it’s built in the small, everyday moments.
It’s choosing kindness when it’s hard.
It’s staying grounded when life feels overwhelming.
It’s trusting that even when you don’t see growth right away, something is happening beneath the surface.
This month’s verses focus on:
Spiritual growth
Strong roots in faith
Living with purpose
Producing good fruit in your daily life
Each verse is short, meaningful, and easy to incorporate into your routine.
You don’t need hours of study time — just a few intentional minutes each day can make a difference.
📖 How to Use the May Reading Plan
Here are a few simple ways to use it:
Read the daily Scripture each morning or evening
Write it down and reflect on what it means to you
Pray over the verse and apply it to your life
Highlight words or phrases that stand out
Revisit your favorite verses throughout the month
This isn’t about perfection — it’s about consistency and connection 💖
✨ A Small Change You’re Going to Love
This month, I made a simple but important update…
This reading plan is completely undated
That means:
You can start anytime
You don’t have to worry about falling behind
You can reuse it year after year
It’s flexible, simple, and designed to fit into your life — not the other way around.
🌷 A Peek at This Month’s Encouragement
Throughout May, you’ll reflect on verses like:
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water…” (Psalm 1:1–3)
“I am the vine; you are the branches…” (John 15:1–5)
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…” (Galatians 5:22–23)
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do…” (Proverbs 16:3)
“Let us not become weary in doing good…” (Galatians 6:7–9)
Each one is a reminder that growth is happening — even when you can’t see it yet.
Print it out, place it somewhere you’ll see it daily, and let this month be a time of steady, meaningful growth in your faith.
One verse — One day — One step closer 💖

You don’t need a perfect routine or hours of quiet time to grow in your faith.
You just need a willing heart.
Let May be a month where you stay rooted, keep showing up, and trust the process — even in the small moments.

SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND FOR PRINTING
A PRINTER
If you’re going to be printing in color, I really recommend investing in a Canon Mega Tank Printer. The quality of the finished product is amazing! If you don’t need a color printer, I highly recommend a laser printer like the Brother L23 Series. You will save hundreds on ink. You can also get a color laser printer, which I would LOVE to have!
PAPER
For everyday printables, planners, and coloring pages for the kiddos, I normally use Hammermill Printer Paper, 20 Lb. I love that you can get a small box of 3 reams instead of having to buy one at a time or a whole case of 10.
If I want something a little nicer, I use this laser paper, which is incredibly smooth and has very little to no ghosting on the other side. This is perfect if you like to use pens/markers that are prone to bleeding through to the other side.
For printing on A5 paper, I use this Blank 6-Hole Punched A5 Paper. You can also get it without the holes, but it’s $6-7 more. Which I think is odd because it’s usually the other way around, and you have to pay more for the hole punching.
