New! 2026 Printable Calendex for Your Planner

New! 2026 Printable Calendex for Your Planner

I’m so excited to share a brand-new addition to the 2026 printable lineup—your Printable Calendex is ready to download!

If you're not familiar with a Calendex, it's a hybrid between a calendar and an index. It helps you track important dates across your planner without crowding your monthly or weekly pages. You simply write a brief note or keyword next to the date, and include a reference (like a page number or section) where you’ve written more details. It’s perfect for logging appointments, project timelines, events, or even habit tracking!

A Calendex is especially helpful if you use bullet journals, DIY planners, or printable systems like the ones I offer here on the blog and in my shops. I use mine at the very front of my planner as a quick-glance overview of the year.

📝 How I Use My Calendex

I like to color-code entries for different areas of my life—home, work, blog, family, etc.—and use my Calendex to quickly reference when something important is happening. It helps me stay ahead of deadlines, manage long-term goals, and not lose track of events I jot down months in advance.

It’s also a fantastic tool for students, teachers, and anyone juggling multiple schedules.

✨ What's New for 2026?

For the 2026 calendar season, I’m sticking with three signature designs that will match across all my planners and calendars:

🖤 Black + White Minimalist

Clean, crisp, and clutter-free—perfect for those who like to keep things simple. This version has no graphics and sticks with neutral tones for a super streamlined look.

🌸 Pink Variegated with Flowers

This version is soft, pretty, and perfect if you like a little charm in your planning. The new flower accents are inspired by the ones I use in my spring collections, and I love how they add a gentle, cheerful touch without being too much.

🌈 Rainbow Color-Coded

This one's for those who love color and visual organization! Each month is highlighted in a different vibrant hue to help you stay on track. I haven’t finalized the decorative graphic for this one just yet (last year I used stars, but I’m ready for something new!), but I promise it’ll be bright, fun, and planner-perfect. Let me know in the comments if you have any ideas.

This 2026 Calendex comes in three matching styles to coordinate with the rest of the 2026 printable collection, and each version covers January through December 2026 and comes in a standard letter-size format (8.5 x 11 inches) for easy printing at home.

SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND FOR PRINTING

A PRINTER

If you’re going to be printing in color, I really recommend investing in an HP Instant Ink-compatible printer. The quality of the finished product is amazing! If you don’t need a color printer, I highly recommend a laser printer like the Brother L23 Series. You will save hundreds on ink. You can also get a color laser printer which I would LOVE to have!

PAPER

For everyday printables, planners, and coloring pages for the kiddos I normally use Hammermill Printer Paper, 20 Lb. I love that you can get a small box of 3 reams instead of having to buy one at a time or a whole case of 10.

If I want something a little nicer, I use this laser paper which is incredibly smooth and has very little to no ghosting on the other side. This is perfect if you like to use pens/markers that are prone to bleeding through to the other side.

For printing on A5 paper, I use this Blank 6-Hole Punched A5 Paper. You can also get it without the holes but it’s $6-7 more. Which I think is odd because it’s usually the other way around and you have to pay more for the hole punching.
