Sunday Social: My Favorite Links This Week

Welcome to this week’s Sunday Social! I’m so happy you’re here. In case you’re new here, this is a short, weekly post where I can share some of my favorite links from around the internet.

We just finished frosting some Christmas sugar cookies and we’re ordering some Chinese food for dinner. There are cookies all over the kitchen and no one feels like cooking so take-out wins this week. Next Sunday is Christmas so I will be taking a short break but will be back after the new year with an all-new Sunday Social post.

Before we get to the links, grab a cup of your favorite holiday beverage and find a cozy spot by the Christmas tree. I hope this collection of interesting reads and favorite things helps ease your Sunday evening.

My favorite finds from around the web:

  • Are you still looking for something to bring to Christmas dinner? Here are 55 of the Best Appetizers for Christmas Potluck and they all look delicious! I’m excited to try the Jalapeno Popper Deviled Eggs (#30)

  • This Simple Buffalo Plaid Christmas Table Setting is so pretty and I really have to try folding the napkins into Christmas trees. Such a clever idea! (Just so you know, this post is from 2020 so she is talking about social distancing)

  • I love posts that show different parts of the World that I will probably never visit. Especially anything from Europe. It’s all so beautiful and I wish I could see it in person someday, but for now, I live vicariously through posts like this: Christmas Along The Rhine/Part 2.

  • My 17-month-old grandson is into Everything right now so I decided not to decorate like I normally do and I’m loving how it all looks. It’s very minimal but still very cozy. I really like simplicity and think I’m going to downsize my decorations. This post is giving me a bunch of ideas to help: How to Declutter Your Holiday Decorations

  • Do you know why some grocery stores spray their produce with a light mist? I thought it was to help keep it fresh but in reality, it actually shortens produce’s shelf life because water allows bacteria and mold to take hold. Plus it makes the veggies weigh more when you check out, therefore, costing you more money. Check out these 5 Surprising Facts From the Produce Aisle I wish I’d learned sooner.
