Halloween Match Game Free Printable

With Halloween only days away I made this fun match game printable for my grandson to play with.

It’s super cute and we had a lot of fun playing with it for the past few days. He even took it home and showed his mommy and daddy how he could match all the pieces.

They are all ready for a Toy Story Halloween. Little man is going to be Buzz Lightyear, my daughter is going to be Jessie the cowgirl and her husband is going to be Woody.

Their costumes are completely adorable! I will share some pics next week.

Create your Halloween Match Game

Start by printing two copies of the download on heavy cardstock.

I left the images on the printable are black and white so you or your child can color them before you start matching.

I colored both pages exactly the same so it would be easier for him to match them but you can use them however you want.

Once they are colored you have two options on how to use them.

  1. You can cut out the image squares from one page only and leave the other page whole so they can match the images. That’s what we did in the photo above.

  2. Cut out both pages and layout all images upside down to play a more Classic Concentration type matching game.

My plan was to laminate both the page I left whole and the cut-up squares but after looking high and low for hours I still can’t find my laminating sheets.

Thankfully, I printed them on very heavy cardstock and they are holding up pretty nicely. You can see a couple of them are bent and a little folded in the picture but they’re not too bad!

I hope you have as much fun with this printable Halloween Match Game as we have been! I would love to see how you color them. Share your pics on Instagram with the #KraftyPlannerPrintables

SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND FOR PRINTING

A PRINTER

If you’re going to be printing in color, I really recommend investing in an HP Instant Ink-compatible printer. The quality of the finished product is amazing! If you don’t need a color printer, I highly recommend a laser printer like the Brother L23 Series. You will save hundreds on ink. You can also get a color laser printer which I would LOVE to have!

PAPER

For everyday printables, planners, and coloring pages for the kiddos I normally use Hammermill Printer Paper, 20 Lb. I love that you can get a small box of 3 reams instead of having to buy one at a time or a whole case of 10.

If I want something a little nicer, I use this laser paper which is incredibly smooth and has very little to no ghosting on the other side. This is perfect if you like to use pens/markers that are prone to bleeding through to the other side.

For printing on A5 paper, I use this Blank 6-Hole Punched A5 Paper. You can also get it without the holes but it’s $6-7 more. Which I think is odd because it’s usually the other way around and you have to pay more for the hole punching.

If you're printing a binder cover that is fade-resistant and lasts a long time, I would recommend the best paper using Epson Presentation paper. It's heavy like cardstock (48 lb), is great when laminated, and is made to last for decades.
